Upcoming action-thriller The Locksmith starring Ryan Phillippe, Kate Bosworth and Ving Rhames has had its North American rights picked up by Screen Media.

Directed by Nicolas Harvard, The Locksmith,” Miller (played by Ryan Phillippe), an ex-jailbird who is released from jail after a botched robbery finds that walking a straight line through life isnt as easy as he hoped or planned. Trying to rekindle his relationship with Beth (played by Kate Bosworth) and their daughter, Miller struggles with trying to make sure that he doesnt slip back into his old crime filled life.

But that’s not easy especially when an old friend tries to persuade him to come back in for ‘one last crime’ 

The screenplay for The Locksmith is written by John Glosser, Chris LaMont, Joe Russo, and Ben Kabialis and is based on an original story by Blair Kroeber.
