The beloved Karate Kid franchise, directed by Academy Award® winner John G. Avildsen (Rocky), comes to 4K with the THE KARATE KID 4K UHD COLLECTION. The trilogy of martial arts action classics is remastered with Dolby Vison and Dolby Atmos and features a whole host of new bonus features to bring back the nostalgia for this classic ‘underdog’ tale.
Featuring memorable performances by Ralph Macchio (The Outsiders, My Cousin Vinny) and Noriyuki “Pat” Morita (The Next Karate Kid, TV’s “Baywatch”), this collection recounts the coming-of-age tale of Daniel, as he is trained by unexpected teacher Mr. Miyagi and learns the important lesson that there is more to karate than fighting. This trio of landmark 80s action films follow the story of a boy and his sensei, in a journey to self-confidence spanning from the San Fernando Valley to Okinawa. THE KARATE KID 4K UHD COLLECTION comes to 4K Ultra HD on DECMBER 6 courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
