Spending Time With…Kristina Arntz ( @KristinaArntz_ ) #filmtwitter #supportindiefilm

Whilst it seems that most of the world is in some sort of lockdown or hiatus from their regular roles, lots and lots of people are taking up new skills and using their time to try new things, learn new skills and prepare for the future (hopefully near future) when things do get some form of normality back. Actor Kristina Arntz is beginning online guitar lessons, and I am preparing to take the audio podcasts into the video world. However Kristina took some time out of her day to answer some of the Spending Time With…questions (thank you Kristina)   and here are her answers.

Kristina has appeared in a number of short films and currently is best known for her role as Gina, in the feature film Darlin (written and directed by Pollyanna McIntosh) which is now available on most viewing platforms.

So without any more from me, its over to Kristina,

What TV shows are you currently watching?

Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix

What is one of your favourite television shows of all time?

Perfect Strangers

What film always makes you laugh?

Wedding Crashers

Have you revisited one of your favourite films during lockdown? Which was it?

What was one of the most memorable films you saw as a child?

Stay Tuned. I remember I had a dentist appointment that day and had some teeth pulled, and as a treat afterward, my mom and a friend of hers and I went to see the movie. It’s still one of my all-time favorites.

What film scares you?

Requiem For A Dream. I’ve read countless reviews and I know what happens, but the imagery itself was too intense for me to finish watching it.

What was the last album you listened to?

This Can’t Be Life – The Wild Colonials

What albums do you never tire of listening to? (pick 3 if you wish)

The Spirit Room – Michelle Branch Loud Guitars, Big Suspicions – Shannon Curfman Stairwells – Kina Grannis

When people ask you ‘so, what do you do?’ How do you introduce yourself?

Most of the time I make it sound as boring as possible and tell people I work at an office, which is true. That’s my day job.

With regards to your own projects? What are you working on that you can tell me about? During quarantine life,

I’ve been taking improv classes online.

If you can sit down with any one living person and chat to them for two hours? Who would you choose?

John Waters
