‘cinematic work of art spanned over 10 hours’ Gangs of London is one hell of a show! #gangsoflondon available to own on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital from 27th July ( @DazzlerMedia )

From Directors Gareth Evans (The Raid), Corin Hardy ( The Hallow ) and Xavier Gens (Hitman)  comes one of the most cinematic shows to hit TV screens this year is now gearing up for its digital, DVD and blu ray release from Dazzler Media.. Gangs Of London tells the story of  modern day London being torn apart by the brutal power struggles between high level gangs that is caused by the sudden murder of one of the high ranking members of a major crime family  Gangs of London might be a televieion series in ever day, it feels, looks and actors more like a cinematic work of art spanned over 10 hours. It has a top notch cast featuring such talents as Colm Meaney, Joe Cole, Ray Panthaki,,Lucian Msamati,,Michelle Fairley, and Sope Dirisu as ‘Eliot’ and many, many more.

There is so much to say about this show, about its brilliance, from the cinematography, to the locations and the scope that this TV show brings but of course a huge mention must go to the action choreography that you will see throughout the show. This isnt a show for ‘kids’ and watching the first few moments of the pilot set up what type of show you are about to see. This level of toughness hasnt been seen on a tv screen before thats for sure (or if it has, then ive not seen it)   But would you expect anything less when the pilot episode was directed from the Master behind The Raid and The Raid 2 (Gareth Evans) There is also a fantastic scene between Sope (Eliot) and Lee Charles (Len) which will make your jaw drop and your eyes pop out of your head. The stuntwork and fight scenes in this show are mind blowing.

As people start to finish the run of the show, they (the audience) are starting to talk about a Season 2. Im torn whether I want one or now.  I feel that Gangs of London is pretty self contained and whilst there is always a way to continue a story into another season. I personally feel that some shows should remain a standalone work.   Would I watch Gangs of London Season 2, of course I would. Do i crave one? No. But if you love great stories performances by a great cast and filmed with excellence by great directors.(of course you do) then check out Gangs Of London.

Available to own on Blu-ray, DVD & Digital from 27th July
