The Parade by Hellie Turner gets ready for its ‘tour’ Brought to you by the @SavageTheatreCo

Two mismatched companions on a metaphorical journey of life in this existensiaĺ bit of fun absurdist theatre, in which Smith, the leader & Jones, the follower alliterate with word play, puns, song & dance, discussing the existential question, why are we here, where are we going, as Smith attempts to convince Jones of the life changing experience.  There are no easy solutions to the mysteries of existence & life is not a solo endeavour.  Smith & Jones discover that cohesion is the key to survival. The Parade does not provoke tears of despair but the laughter of liberation.

Written by award winning Australian playwrite Hellie Turner & performed by former Grange Hill actors, Mark Savage & Tony McPherson, who play Smith & Jones and the show will soon be on the road with performances in various theatres across the county.
