Borstal. The True Story of Kris Gray. released Monday 6th March 2017

The film follows the True Story of Kris Gray, who in 1971, after a petty conviction, is sent to a brutal Borstal for boys and must deal with beatings, racism, discrimination, nasty screws and cows! Will his passion for music and his elicit encounters with the beautiful Sally, wife of a screw, see him through his sentence?

The film is released through 101 Films Monday 6th March 2017 and will be on DVD in UK retailers and on Digital download in iTunes, Sky Store, Amazon Instant.

    • Everthorpe Borstal was bad in 80 81 82 . I served 102 weeks I lost all my bird and spent most of it down the block.
      One good officer was Mr Duncan a block screw.
      I did 4 inductions and spent a lot of that not scrubbing the M1 unlike the rest of the half wits.

      I enjoyed smashing my cell up, having the door jacked off, breaking the arm of a geordie screw between the cell door and door frame. I loved the peace and quiet down the block.
      I never worked and refused all direct orders to do so.
      Fighting with bullies pp9 batteries in socks for those thick Geordie pricks whose only options after school were the army or coal mines or Borstal.

      I was discharged March 1982 from the block never been in any trouble since.
      It was the company on the wings not the institution that rehabilitated me.
      I still hate thick cunts from the North East to this day.
