Directed by Brandon Slagle (Frost), the rip-roaring World War Two actioner, in the tradition of Hacksaw Ridge, sees Starship Troopers’ Casper Van Dien as a field surgeon and his wounded charge trying to escape during an enemy invasion. Jeff Fahey (Machete) also stars, along with prolific action star Louis Mandylor (Rambo: Last Blood), Devanny Pinn (Piranha 3D, Frost,) and Jennifer Wenger (Tales of Halloween).

With outstanding set-pieces – and an opening sequence that recalls Saving Private Ryan – nail biting tension and based on a brutal real-life conflict that lasted for 42 days during World War II, Battle for Saipan is a gripping and powerful tale of an against-the-odds situation and incredible courage.
