Hurcheon Films head to Romford Horror Film Festival 2022 with their latest short film ‘Odds’ ( @Hurcheonfilms )

After screening The Penny Dropped at Romford Horror Film Festival in 2021, Hurcheon Films are headed to the 2022 festival with their latest short film’ Odds’

Filmed in Chertsey Meads in Surrey during December 2020 using a combination of drone, car-mounted and hand-held camera work. Helpfully for the cast and crew the persistent fog stayed all day and made things far easier for continuity and also added a bit of extra mystery to the film and locations. ‘Odds’ was completed in May 2021.

The film then world-premiered at the Portland Horror Film Festival in Oregon in July 2021, with the UK
premiere at following a few months later at the FilmBath Festival in October 2021 supporting the Cannes-winning feature Titane.

‘Odds’ has also screened at Shockfest,was a finalist at the Niagara Falls Short Film
Festival, and was nominated at the British Horror Film Festival in December 2021 for Best Short Film, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor.  So if you are attending the Romford Horror Film Festival 2022, then definitely check out ‘Odds’
