I love it when a new projects drops in  front of my radar. Once its on there it stays there. So its with a very big smile and some eager anticipation that I can announce the following.

MEET THE GUVNORS SHOOTING IN LONDON

Shooting has begun on MEET THE GUVNORS, the new film from the Metrodome production slate.

A violent thriller set amongst the clans and firms of South East London, it brings two generations together in conflict.

The film stars  Doug Allen (BAND OF BROTHERS & THE FIRM) Harley Alexander Sule (RIZZLE KICKS) David Essex (SILVER DREAM MACHINE) , Zulu One Eyed Baz, Vas Blackwood as well Jay Simpson, Melanie Gutteridge, Charley Palmer Merkell & Martin Hancock.

Meet The Guvnors is written and directed by Gabe Turner who directed the documentary ‘In The Hands Of The Gods’

Meet The Guvnors is being  produced by Leo Pearlman (Fulwell 73 – ONE DIRECTION 3D: THIS IS US & THE CLASS OF 92) Danny Potts (TURNOUT & PIGGY) & Cass Pennant (ex ICF member and subject of the feature film CASS)

 The Salt Company are handling exclusive worldwide sales. The film will be executive produced by Jezz Vernon for Metrodome Distribution, who will theatrically release the movie n 2014.

Producer Leo Pearlman commented:

“The opportunity to work with such a talented group of iconic British actors and to produce Gabe Turner’s first scripted feature was too good too miss. The script is both shocking and original in equal measure and contains those classic moments that the audience will leave the cinema talking about.”
